Race Preview: Run to Get Lucky 5k and 15k in Corvallis

Run to Get Lucky

Run to Get Lucky

This year’s Run to Get Lucky will take place on March 15th, 2014 on the Riverfront Path in Corvallis. This Irish festival hosted by Cloud & Kelly’s Public House offers fun for the whole family; participants can choose between the 15k or 5k run, the 1Mile Run/Walk/Stroll/Roll, or the 1k Kids Wee Run, and the run is followed by a street festival including music, dance and food.

This event is now in it’s third year, and registration costs are very affordable (see below for fee breakdown). Each registration includes race tech shirt, finisher pint glass, free beverage, free food, live music, free pictures, costume contest, and a post race St. Patty’s Day party hosted by Cloud and Kelly’s. Awards will be awarded for top three finishers male and female in the 5k and 15k, as well as for the best costume.

Both the 5k and 15k course run mostly along the Willamette and Mary’s River, and therefore have no significant hills. Packet Pick Up will be available starting at 11:30am on race day, located on the riverfront bike path near the intersection or 1st and Monroe.
