This is a late calendar addition, and I’m sorry about that, folks … but better late than never!
The final Jumpstart Race Series of 2013 is this Saturday, December 28th. The Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard is a fund raiser for Jumpstart Summer Basketball scholarship fund, and offers a 3k, 5k, and 10k for your chilly running enjoyment!
What: Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard
Where: Lewis & Clark Festival Park (near the River Tunnel) in The Dalles, Ore.
What time: 10a
Register: Day of race registration starts at 9a and is $10 without a shirt; $25 with (long sleeve cotton shirt)
There are awards for the top three in each 10 year age division. Participants can look forward to a fast out-and-back course. There are restrooms available at the start/finish and water stations on course.
