Emmett is a town in Idaho of about 6500 people and sits about 30 miles east of Ontario, OR (and 30 miles north of Boise) right along the Payette River. While it is a little bit out-of-the-way of most Oregonians, it is a cool opportunity to check out a race in a different NW state.
