Blooms to Brews offers a Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and 10K on Sunday, April 10th in Woodland, Washington. The course runs through historic communities, includes views of the Columbia and Lewis Rivers and takes advantage of the Holland America Flower Gardens’ Woodland Tulip Festival. The fifth annual North County Wine Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th in Ridgefield WA. The run is open to runners and walkers of most speeds – there is a four hour course limit on the half marathon. The 5k starts half an hour after the half marathon, and 5k participants will complete their run in time to cheer most half marathoners to the finish.
On Sunday, January 4th, 2015 I participated in the Resolution Run 10k put on by Get Bold Events. The race was held at Battle Ground Village, approximately 35-40 minutes north of downtown Portland.
