Know the Plan, Take the Route, Race the Wave. September is Emergency Preparedness Month, and Cannon Beach has found a creative way for their citizens and visitors to practice their tsunami evacuation route. The Race the Wave 5k starts at Cannon Beach’s Tolovana Beach Wayside parking lot, and the run/walk route will follow the evacuation route to the finish line on higher ground.
