A Corvallis Constant: The HOTV Resolution Run Starts the Year Again (FREE RACE)

Head to Corvallis on January 1st for the 17th Annual Resolution Run, hosted by Heart of the Valley (HOTV) Runners. This FREE event is the perfect way to kick off your year with a fun run! Choose between the 5K or 2K courses and make your first run of the year a memorable one.

Bring the whole family out on New Year’s Day for this event, but please be aware that no bikes or dogs will be allowed on the course. The run starts at 10a at the Avery Park/Thompson Shelter.

Afterward, warm up with a drink and snack to refuel. Coffee Culture and Kinetic Bagel will also be on-site, offering a variety of beverages and food.

This year they are asking participants and volunteers to bring donations to this year’s run for The Corvallis Daytime Drop-in Center.

The CDDC is a community-based resource hub providing information, referrals, and direct services for people experiencing homelessness and poverty in Benton County and beyond.  Please consider helping those who truly need it!

Don’t miss out on the first (and one of the only) free running events of 2026! Although the event is free, online pre-registration is encouraged to help plan ahead. Don’t miss out on this fantastic way to start 2026 on the right foot!
