The CONCURVE line from GOREWEAR continues to deliver the goods. We’ve checked out a handful of items from this collection over the years – from shorts to tops to jackets – and this thermal version couldn’t have arrived at a better time as the temperatures start to dip.

First things first: unless you’re completely confident in your sizing, you may want to go a size up. I’m typically a Large, and while the one I tested fit, it was definitely on the snug side. Sure, I could probably shed a few pounds around the midsection, but even then, it felt just a little tighter than expected.

That said, the functionality and construction are spot on. The design is meant to fit more like a shirt than a bulky jacket, which makes the closer fit intentional and ideal for wearing on its own without much layering. The knit fabric has a nice stretch to it and feels great on the run, while the wind- and water-resistant zones do their job to keep warmth in.

I also didn’t have any issues with overheating since it’s surprisingly breathable. Plus, the dual front zipper is a smart touch, letting you vent from the top or bottom when things start to warm up.

Overall, the GOREWEAR CONCURVE Thermo Hybrid Jacket hits that sweet spot between warmth and performance, making it a solid pick for cool-weather runs. It’s another reminder that GOREWEAR knows how to design gear that truly works for the PNW runner.

The jacket comes in 6 colors.
