At Run Oregon, we spend plenty of time logging miles — but if we’re being honest, we spend even more time in our everyday clothes than in running gear. That’s why we love highlighting brands that blend Pacific Northwest style with an active, outdoorsy edge. DUER fits that bill perfectly.
We’ve been fans of their functional-meets-fashionable apparel for nearly a decade, and it’s easy to see why they keep making our lineup.

As we head into fall their Plaid Flannel Button Down and Faded Tech Fleece Denim have an autumnal aesthetic to them that sort of screams Oregon.
Plaid Flannel Button Down
Three out of four Oregon seasons come with a pretty good chance of being chilly, rainy, or both. And while Oregon is undeniably a denim-loving state (guilty as charged), we can all admit that jeans and wet weather don’t always play nice.
Sure, denim is tough — but if you’ve ever been caught in a downpour and spent the rest of the day slogging around in soggy pants, you know it’s… less than ideal. Plus, heading to an early-season Timbers match or a late-season Ducks game in plain denim (with no baselayers) isn’t exactly the warmest call.
That’s where DUER’s Faded Tech Fleece Denim comes in clutch. At first glance, it looks like your classic straight-leg jean, but on the inside, it’s lined with a soft woven fleece that adds warmth without the bulk or stiffness of layering up. The result? All-day comfort, legit insulation, and a bit of stretch that keeps you moving freely.
Add in a water-repellent DWR finish on the exterior, and you’ve got denim that’s actually ready for Oregon weather — rain, chill, and all.
It comes in three colors.
Overall
We get it — these aren’t running-specific pieces (duh). But as much as we’d all love to live in our race tees and split shorts 24/7, there’s real life to tackle between runs. That’s where these come in. They’re the kind of fall staples runners can appreciate — comfy, durable, and still with that active edge.
Price-wise, they land in the higher-end range, but that’s par for the course with quality gear. I can vouch for DUER’s longevity — my first pair of pants held strong through five years of heavy rotation before finally tapping out. And honestly, their new stuff feels even tougher.
DUER’s lineup runs deep, too — with both men’s and women’s styles and a full range of apparel options that fit just about any adventure or off-day plan.
