Celebrate Strength and Sisterhood at the Happy Girls Run

Sisters, Oregon holds a special place in my heart. From the charming town and majestic mountains to the welcoming vibe—and don’t even get me started on those legendary cinnamon rolls from a local bakery—I just can’t get enough. A few times each year, a race pops up that’s all about soaking in the experience just as much as the running itself. The Happy Girls Run on October 25th is one such event, celebrating all women runners in this beautiful town.

Racers can pick their path: take on the scenic trails with the half marathon, hit the pavement for a 5K, or even enjoy a road 10K with stunning views. No matter your pace or preference, this race weekend has something tailor-made for you.

The Half Marathon: This route winds through Sisters’ breathtaking Peterson Ridge trails, where towering pines and sweeping vistas of the Cascade Range escort you all the way to the finish line at Five Pine Lodge.

The 10K & 5K: Both distances take you through the charming, western-style streets of Sisters. Strollers are welcome, though runners with strollers are kindly asked to start toward the back of the pack to give everyone plenty of room for a safe and smooth start.

The Festivities: The celebration kicks off right after the race with a complimentary cocktail, tasty snacks, and warm soup to help you refuel and relax.

The Happy Girls Run in Sisters is just one stop in a lively series of races across the Pacific Northwest. So don’t let the good times end here—bring that joyful spirit with you and join in at any (or all) of the other Happy Girls Run events!
