While Ciele has been a staple in the headwear game for the past decade, we’ve seen the brand steadily branch out into running apparel—and the results are genuinely impressive. This year, we got our hands (and bodies and heads) on a few of their updated pieces for 2025, and it’s clear they’re building out a lineup that’s not just stylish, but seriously functional. From reimagined classics to innovative new gear, these are pieces we’ll be reaching for all year long.
DLYTShirt
Updated for 2025, this featherlight performance top weighs in at just 3.1 oz (!), making it an ideal companion for racking up miles in warmer temps. The back panel now features COOLmatic | PLUS MIKRAmesh for extra breathability, layered onto a shirt that already boasts a SOLOmesh construction, four-way stretch, and a UPF +50 rating. Fancy terms aside—it’s just really solid.
Offered in five vibrant colors—black, grey, blue, maroon, and turquoise—the design stays minimal, with branding kept subtle via a small logo on the lower left chest. But don’t worry, it’s not boring. Some versions feature a contrasting colorway on the lower back panel, giving it just enough flair without going over the top.
That stripped-back design lets your running do the talking instead of loud gear. As someone who values both form and function, I really appreciate that.
FSTTight
I don’t own a ton of running tights in the shorts variety. I don’t exactly fit the “typical runner” body type, so I usually lean toward gear with a bit more wiggle room. That said, I’ve found that shorts like these really shine in certain situations—and honestly, having some variety in the closet is both wise and fun.
Right off the bat, I have to say the construction and fit on the FSTTight are excellent. Made from a blend of 68% nylon and 32% spandex, they feel super lightweight and stretchy—plenty of freedom to move. The updated design features COOLmatic | PLUS KLOSfit fabric (yep, another fun name), which is breathable and offers just the right amount of compression.
The waistband is a standout too—really comfortable, and it doesn’t dig in, even during intense efforts. The length hits a sweet spot: not so short that I felt self-conscious, and not so long that I felt like I was wearing capris. If you prefer a different length, Ciele has your back—they’ve added internal markings so you can trim the tights to your preferred size. Super cool feature.
Functionally, these tights come loaded with details in a minimalistic package. Multiple pockets provide space for fuel (or even your phone), and there’s a silicone-backed daisy chain elastic at the waist that can hold a top if you’ve sweat through it and need to take it off mid-run. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just logging easy miles, it’s nice to have thoughtful storage built in. They come in three colors, and they’ve definitely earned their spot in my rotation.
FSTCap SC and TRLCap SC
As someone who owns around 80 casual hats and 20 running hats, I pretty much always have something on my head. Ciele was once (and maybe still is) best known for their headwear—but clearly, they’ve expanded well beyond that (see above!). That said, just because you’ve already made a great hat doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.
The FSTCap SC keeps it simple and solid—breathable where it counts and built to wick sweat and fight stink with COOLmatic | PLUS FLOWmesh. The quick-adjust strap locks things down when needed, and the tough ripstop fabric on the front is ready for sun with UPF 50 protection. It’s a more typical running fit (i.e. low-profile) so its easy to pack and throw it on and go, rain or shine.
Ciele first dropped the TRLCap back in 2015, and now, a decade later, it’s back with a redesign. The new version features a higher crown (which I personally love), breathable and durable mesh back panels, and a nicely curved brim. Honestly, as someone closing in on triple digits in the hat department, the aesthetic leans more toward a classic baseball cap than your typical running hat—which, for me, is a big win. But hey, not everyone’s into that style, and if not, Ciele’s still got a ton of great options.
The FLEXweave woven fabric adds UPF protection, and they’ve revamped the liner and headband construction to boost ventilation and cut down on odor. It’s clear Ciele isn’t just sitting on their legacy—they’re refining it.
Ciele’s 2025 updates show a clear evolution—from standout running apparel like the DLYTshirt and FSTTight to a refreshed TRLCap that blends performance with street-ready style. Thoughtful design, smart fabric tech, and versatility across the board prove they’re not just a headwear brand anymore—they’re building a full kit worth paying attention to.
