Nitro Boost: Running on Cold Brew with Rise Coffee

The first few steps of a run often feel sluggish, much like the first few moments of the day before caffeine kicks in. Personally, I’ve been trying to cut back on coffee without cutting it out completely and looking for a few items that can give me a small boost—just enough to sharpen my focus without sending me into caffeine overdrive.

I want it to be like running in that way: starting small, building momentum, and finishing feeling strong. Recently we were sent a variety pack from Rise Brewing Company – a cold brew company that can be found in many national chain stores.

A small 7 oz can has been hitting my sweet spot—just enough of a refreshing jolt without excess, much like a well-paced run that leaves me energized rather than drained. I have really been liking it after a morning run, when I plop down at my computer for a day’s worth on work.

The variety pack comes in four flavors – the staples from Rise – and all have 80-180mg of natural caffeine, as well as being organic, dairy-free, vegan, plant-based, and non-GMO.

If you subscribe, you can receive 10% off your orders. It’s a tasty treat!
