Fall into Adventure at Autumn Trails Eugene

Autumn Trails Eugene the fifth race in the Run Big Trail Series, returns to Eugene, Oregon, on Sunday, November 10th.

This scenic event offers four distance options: 3.5 miles, 6 miles, 10 miles, and 16 miles. Like many trail races, the natural terrain means the actual distances may slightly vary from your GPS readings. All races begin at 10:00 AM from Frank Kinney Park in South Eugene. Participants will start on the Rexius Trail, ascending into the Amazon Headwaters Trail, and continuing to Fox Hollow Road.

Those running the 6-mile course will loop over to the new Dillard Road connector trail, while the 10-mile route extends to the Willamette and Dillard area. The 16-mile race offers a more challenging adventure, taking runners out to Blanton Heights, South Willamette, the south side of Spencer Butte, and the new Dillard connector trail.

Be sure to consult the detailed course map to choose the distance that suits you best.

There will be a total of five aid stations for the 16-mile route, three for the 10-mile, two for the 6-mile, and one for the 3.5-mile course. Located at key trail junctions, these stations will be stocked with GU Brew, water, GU energy gels, and light snacks to keep you fueled.

Special awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance, with additional awards for the top three in each age group.

As a huge fan of this trail series, I hope to see you out there tackling these beautiful trails!
