2024 will be the 10th year for the Newport Celebration Run. This 4th of July race includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a kids run. You will be running on the iconic NOAA pier, stretching 1300 feet over beautiful Yaquina Bay. And there will be no shortage of scenic views as you run along the bay.
Finishers will receive a finisher medal, a complimentary Rogue beer (21 and over), and post-race food. Enjoy the celebration of 10 years running and spend the day or even longer in Newport. Because the beach is usually a pretty great place to be – especially in the summer.
Course maps for each distance can be found HERE. As you’ll see, no matter which option you choose, you’ll have some pretty great views along the way. One thing to note, is that the half marathon course does include a little over 5 miles of single-track trail. So, plan your footwear accordingly. Whichever distance you decide on, enjoy the day and the epic location for a 4th of July run.
