Race Preview: 2017 Run Your Tutu off (Corvallis)

Seeing runners wearing a tutu during a race has become a somewhat common occurrence. The Run Your Tutu Off 5k in Corvallis goes a step farther by encouraging all participants to wear their creative tutus and awarding the most unique ones with awards. The race is scheduled for February 18th and starts at Crystal Lake Park in Corvallis at 9am. Participants of all speeds are welcome, and kids under 7 can run for free! If you register before February 1st, you will also receive an event t-shirt.

After the race, stick around for snacks and drinks, watch the award ceremony for the most unique tutus, and browse the vendor tends. Proceeds of the event benefit the local community non-profit Furniture Share. For more impressions about the race, check out Matt’s recap of the 2015 event.
