Labor Day weekend in Newport is the place to be for this theme run for the whole family! The Superhero Run includes a 5K and a Kids Fun Run, with costumes highly encouraged.
Brought to you by Ardor Adventures, this scenic run begins at the Newport Performing Arts Center. From there runners will make their way to historic Nye Beach, along the ocean past the Old Lighthouse and Yaquina Bay Bridge, then back along the ocean to the start. This loop course is paved and has a couple of small hills.
The Kids Run is about a 1/2 mile long and is just $10.
Make sure to go all out with your superhero or villian costume, as there are cash prizes for best costume!
Ardor Adventures is committed to giving back to the community and partners with a number of different charities including: Newport Food Pantry, Lincoln County Children’s Advocacy Center, Sam Case and Toledo Elementary Schools, and Coast Hills Running Club.
