Race Preview – 2015 Gold Dust Run 5k & 10k (Gold Hill, Oregon)

It looks as though summer has arrived early in Southern Oregon, the weather is phenomenal,  and what better way to kick it off than at the Gold Dust Run in beautiful Gold Hill, Oregon.  In conjunction with Gold Dust Days, Southern Oregon Runners brings you another remarkable event!

The 13th Annual Gold Dust Run course has been changed with the start and finish lines at the beautiful Del Rio Vineyards and Winery.  Both the 5k and 10k are flat and fast and a favorite local summer run.  At the finish pre- registered runners can look forward to breakfast burritos from Foots Creek Deli Mart, hard cider samples from Gold Rush Brewing Company, vendor booths, much more!  The swag bags will be chock full of coupons and offers from local businesses, snacks, and a great Gold Dust Run trucker hat!  Part of the proceeds for this race go to support the Rogue Community College Cross Country Team, the Ospreys.

After the run, make your way a short distance and enjoy Gold Dust Days, with a parade, live entertainment, food and beverage booths, artisan crafts, games for the kids, a Rat and Rod show, and more! It’s the classic summertime small town festival and race all wrapped into one!
