Small Race Preview: 2015 Run Girlfriend Run 5K

May 16th, join the Mt. Hood Athletic Club for the Run Girlfriend Run fundraising event to benefit the Run Girlfriend Run scholarship fund. Run Girlfriend Run Scholarships provide financial assistance to young women athletes in the Oregon Trail School District (from grades 6-12).  This year, the race is a 5K only with a new course route.  No strollers or animals and course is not wheelchair accessible.  The course promises a scenic run involving the campus at Sandy high school, a couple challenging hills, and wooded nature trails.  Raffle prizes are available after the run, as well as awards for the top finishers. This looks like a small event with a lot of character and benefits a good cause!
