The Columbia Gorge Running Club and Skamania County General Services present the Stevenson to Carson Ridge Run, which has a bit of a twist this year as in the past this has been the Annual Carson to Stevenson Ridge Run. The direction of the race was switched this year which provides a more challenging course.
This 10 mile course is open to both walkers and runners. This challenging course will go up paved roads initially, then over Carson Ridge on dirt roads, and back to paved roads into Carson. If you are looking for a hill challenge, this looks like a winner.
The race will start at Skamania County Fairgrounds and will finish at Backwoods Brewing in Carson. Participants are encouraged to carpool, but shuttles will be available from Backwoods Brewing starting at 7:30 A.M. The post-race celebration and awards will be at Backwoods Brewing.
Registration for this budget-friendly race is by mail-in form and not online, so register soon! Proceeds from this race will benefit the Columbia Gorge Running Club Scholarship fund, which provides opportunities to runners in the Gorge area.
