I Run For Desmond is a community fun run that is a fundraiser for CFT Elementary Special Education Department and an Autism awareness event. Starting at Fowler Middle School and heading out to the Fanno Creek Trail, this 5K started in honor of Desmond, a child with Autism at CFT Elementary. Last year they raised $4500 for the Special Education Department and were able to purchase iPads and other learning tools for this department to help Desmond and other children like him.
