I (Matt) have been traveling once again. While being away from the family this week is a bummer, I have gone on some pretty great runs in some remote places. Can you guess where? It’s a hard one.

This picture was taken in Stanfield, OR – just south of Hermiston. This are was entirely new to me and the city was so small that I essentially ended up running completely through it in a half hour. I ended up making a detour into the brush just West of Highway 395 and overlooking the huge railroad area. I followed the Feed Canal and further onto Hinkel Motel road for a bit before returning. It was a beautiful day for an isolated country run!
