Race Preview: 2016 Micro Marathon

Are you wishing you could run a marathon, but you just haven’t been running as far since the weather has gotten colder and wetter? I would like to suggest you head out to the 2nd annual Micro Marathon in Lake Oswego. This untimed fun run is just 2.62 miles. Perfect for those of you who aren’t ready for the many miles of a marathon, but would like to tell people you are running a (micro) marathon.

100% of the proceeds from this New Year’s Day event will be donated to the Oregon Department of Human Services for kids in foster care.

The Micro Marathon starts at George Rogers Park. This out and back course follows the Willamette River, and promises to be flat and scenic.
