Join participants on September 17, 2022 for the Pacific Northwest Marathon!

Nothing makes you feel more like a proud runner than a marathon titled after our entire beloved region. And this race sure does deliver on the promise of showcasing some of the most beautiful parts of our region. If you have never participated in this one before – you run from the beautiful, quaint town of Coburg, Oregon to Harrisburg, Oregon. The racecourse winds through scenic farmlands of the southern Willamette Valley. As the race description says, “These towns are preparing to host you and make your race the experience of a lifetime.”  I can feel the Oregon hospitality from here!

This race offers a full and half marathon, and a 5K that are flat, fast and treat you to a gradual downhill to help you hit that PR you’ve been dreaming of! This course is a USATF Certified Boston Qualifier. Those Boston dreams of yours may not be too far away with registration for the PNW Marathon. You can find interactive course maps on the website here.

The one thing I really love about this race besides the scenery, good vibes, and that fast course is how the focus for this race is being the best, healthiest version of yourself you can be. The mission of the Pacific Northwest Marathon Series is to help people overcome challenges in order to achieve their fitness goals. This race hosts a supportive community that wants to help you and celebrate your fitness journey as you overcome personal challenges and be the best version of you that you can be!

And as someone who always must highlight the snacks, you’ll find an aid station every mile! 24 in total, with the first at mile 3 on the marathon.  Some of the highlights include:
