Now, the race has already reached its cap but there is one final way you can register while stocking up on gear you need anyway and supporting the local nonprofit Transition Projects. This whole week, you could score one of the remaining bibs (15 each day) if you head to Foot Traffic and purchase $100 or more in awesome running gear … including gift cards and online purchases.
Ok, so let’s say you’ve got your registration. What’s next? We highly recommend you go to one of the multiple packet pick-ups and save yourself some time on race day. Here’s the pre-race pick-up schedule:
- Sunday, April 14th at Foot Traffic West, 11a-4p
- Wednesday, April 17th, Foot Traffic Vancouver, 3p-7p
- Thursday, April 18th at Foot Traffic Downtown, 11p-6p
- Friday, April 19th at Foot Traffic NE, 10a-4p
Next up is the half marathon and 10k start at 8:15a. This will be the larger start of the two races, so if you’re running the half marathon just be aware that you’re starting with the participants of the 10k … don’t let them pull you out too fast! There are five aid stations (which all feature a porta-potty) along the course for the half marathon, which makes it all the way to the I-205 along the Marine Drive Bike Path.
After you finish, hang around in the finish area where you can enjoy mimosas and local craft beers, get some snacks, jam out to music while rocking your awesome finishers medal, and take part in Easter-themed activities including an egg roll and egg painting. You’ll need to bring your ID if you want to imbibe, and be sure to bring some warm clothes to wear after you’re done running so you can truly enjoy the festivities.
