Champoeg Park is just the right size for this Ultra! Starting near the Champoeg Pavilion, you will run slightly down hill on flat dirt to a paved bike path. You will loop around on a paved path and then turn up the bike path to go over a wooden bridge and slightly uphill to the turn-around. You then go downhill on the paved path and out onto a dirt path through a woodsey area looping back to the start/finish area. The 50k will run this loop 5 times, while the 50 miler will run this 8 times. This Ultra loop consists of 80% paved bike path and 20% dirt single track. It’s a beautiful course full of all the colors of Fall, beautiful trees and is made for speed (mostly flat)! There will be two aid stations set up. With the way the course loops, you will pass the aid stations three times for each loop, never being further than 2.5 miles from one. The aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drinks, gels and lots of ultra foods. You can also leave your own stuff near the start under the covered area if needed.
With the early start and sunrise not until around 7:45a, be sure and bring a headlamp for your first couple miles.

- 5:30a Packet Pick up
- 6:00a Early start for the 50 miler
- 7:00a 50 miler and 50k start
- 4:00p Cut off to start the last lap of your race
