Coach Jim is once again hosting free weekly long group runs. These runs are open to everyone, whether you have never run a marathon or you’ve run a bunch. You can also go if you’re just looking for a group run to join with no plans to run a marathon! The schedule he’s put together is targeting the Eugene Marathon, but if you are running any late April/May marathon, it can offer the support you need.
A great way to keep tabs on any changes (when the weather gets bad, sometimes runs get cancelled, for example) is by joining Coach Jim’s facebook group. Be sure to bookmark this post to keep track of the schedule and mileage.
The schedule below lists the planned location and the suggested mileage for those running the Eugene Marathon on April 28, 2019 (or a race around that same weekend). The three numbers are the mileage for those who have run less than four marathons, between 4 and 10 marathons, and more than 10 marathons. All training runs are on Saturdays.
