The proceeds from this race will benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA) to educate and support community awareness in regards to people living with ostomies like urostomy, ileostomy, and colostomy.
A t-shirt will be included in the $15 entry fee, so you can’t beat the price to do this fun race. There’s also a fundraising option to support the UOAA. All donations are tax deductible, so click here to start or support a Fundraiser.
There will be activities for the kids and opportunities to connect with suppliers and the local and national advocacy groups, some come check it out! There are only 107 spots left!

What: Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k
When: Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 9:30AM
Where: Health Fair in the parking lot of City Hall at the Farmer’s Market (SE Main St & Harrison, Milwaukie, OR) Parking will be available in the Milwaukie City Hall parking lot as well as along the streets.

Packet Pick-Up: At the gazebo in the center of the park starting at 7:30AM
This 5k run/walk takes place at locations across the US and the CJD Foundation encourages you to participate in a virtual race if you can’t get to a Strides satellite location to do it otherwise. (Contact them here to coordinate your own local event.) In addition to the 5k run/walk, there is a 0.3-mile Family Fun Stroll. Both of these will be on paved trails, and neither event is timed. Registrants will get a t-shirt and there will be a raffle for some great prizes as well as music entertainment. There will also be some pre- and post-race snacks available. There’s a fundraising option for this race as well.
