Race Preview: 2017 Corvallis Fall Festival 5K, 10K, and 1K kids run

Fall festival? Weren’t we just writing about 4th of July 5Ks and summer relays? Is it really going to turn crisp and cool in the mornings? If so, we all know that that means: it’s PR season!

To help kick it off, the 39th Annual Corvallis Fall Festival Run will be Sunday, September 24th and will once again feature the 1K kids run, 5K, and 10K running events hosted by Heart of the Valley Runners and proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Club of Corvallis.

The 5 and 10K distances are described as “old school” and run through the OSU campus. The 5K is a nice loop (ish) course and the 10K is an easy and fast out and back.

Afterwards, enjoy the festival at Central Park in Corvallis with food booths, music, art, and craft tables. Sorry, no pets are allowed at the festival!
