But we are older now, and having a collection of pogs isn’t exactly the coolest thing to own. But what IS cool is the Nite Ize SlapLit Slap Wrap. This product features that same “slap it to snap it” technology, but adds in LED lighting to make it a simple, yet prime night running accessory. These were actually worn by the Canadian Winter Olympic Team in Sochi during the Closing Ceremonies!
It was comfortable and out of the way. I typically wear a watch when I run, and the Slap Wrap just felt the same. It was not too tight, but also not too loose where I felt it was going to fall off. The first few runs, it did feel mildly bulky, as it wraps around the wrist a time and a half or so, but this was quickly dissipated. I also ran with it on my upper arm and around my ankle as well, just to try it out.
Overall, this is an extremely inexpensive and solid option for running. I still run with a reflective vest at night, but I’m almost thinking one more Slap Wrap and would feel pretty good about ditching it altogether.
