Eugene Marathon
Every Spring, thousands of runners from all 50 states and several countries travel to Tracktown to take on the signature Marathon Weekend event, the Eugene Marathon. And for good reason, too. The Eugene Marathon course is 26.2 stunning, scenic, and flat miles through running history. You’ll run on the streets where hundreds of NCAA champion University of Oregon runners have trained throughout the years. You’ll run on the paths that Olympians call home. You’ll pass by the pub where Pre worked as a bartender. And best of all, you’ll Finish Where It Started.

McDonald Forest 50K Trail Run
Corvallis Area Trailrunners is the 501(c)(3) public charity that distributes the race proceeds which support local middle and high school cross-country teams, the Corvallis Mountain Rescue Unit and the OSU Research Forest. The race is held in Oregon State University’s McDonald Forest and on Starker Forest land. Please obey all forest rules and regulations posted in Peavy Arboretum and throughout McDonald Forest.

The mountainous, temperate Tillamook Rainforest in Northwestern Oregon is steeped in history, most notably, the legendary “Tillamook Burn” forest fires that consumed 355,000 acres of colossal old growth forest from 1933-1951. One of the largest tree replanting campaigns in human history led to the formation of the Tillamook State Forest in 1974. HTC Cape Lookout Relay
This historic race course is the genesis of the Mother of All Relays, where it all started back in 1982. The stunning course remained unchanged until eventually the popularity of Hood to Coast reached participants from all 50 states and 7 continents, the first 11 legs are part of the original race course. Traverse through the lush old-growth forest, along the tranquil Little Nestucca River and reach the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

The Portland Trail Series is a super-cool, low-key series of trail running races held in Forest Park in Portland. Three five-race Series (Spring, Summer and Fall) are held Wednesday evenings from May-October, and each race covers a different, challenging course, ranging from 4-7 miles. Runners that participate in at least four races for each Series are included in the overall Series standings, and doing well in the Series will land you some fantastic gear from our great sponsors. The Series will benefit the Forest Park Conservancy and a post-Series party is held immediately after the final race at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub. The Smith Rock Ascent races have become so popular, and it is easy to see why. You get to spend the weekend at one of the most scenic places in Oregon – Smith Rock State Park. The event spans the whole weekend, with a 50K on Saturday and the 15-Mile on Sunday. The trails in and around the state park provide stunning views of the rock faces where you’ll see climbers scaling the tall walls, as well as vistas of the Three Sisters and Mt. Jefferson. Bold and Beautiful on May 14th, 2022 Nestled in the Heart of the Willamette Valley sits the highest peak in the Oregon Coast Range Marys Peak at 4097 Ft. Marys Peak was known as Chateemanwi, or “place of spiritual power” to the native Kalapuya tribe who used the land for spirit quests. Nestled on her slopes are a town, cemetery and old logging railroad. The streams that flow down the mountain’s sides provide water to Corvallis from the Rock Creek Watershed. Many of the lands surrounding Marys Peak were privately owned, until they were added to the Siuslaw National Forest to protect the source that provides Corvallis with 40% of their drinking water. The Butte Buster is a scenic and rolling 8-mile trail run at Emigrant Lake. The course follows the lakeshore and summits Little Songer Butte, before turning back and following a slightly different route back to the start. Oak savannahs, rock outcroppings, and lake views dominate the singletrack. The race will start and finish at the west shore day use area. The course will follow the Emigrant Lake Trail / Little Songer Butte Trail from the day use area to the Songer Wayside, taking the lakeshore route out and the hillside route back. Aid stations will be at Old Greensprings crossing (miles 1.5 & 6.5) and Songer Wayside (mile 4). Please see the general route map in the photo album above. This is ~8-miles & 1,000 feet of gain and loss.

There's the run, the walk, canine activities, vendor booths, demonstrations, and more! Fundraise for the animals! With your help we hope to raise $100,000 to help care for over 3,100 animals in 2022. Stumptown Trail Runs
The trails of Forest Park are a real treasure for runners and an opportunity to run a race on them shouldn’t be missed. The only 50K held in Portland, the Stumptown Trail Runs route will include everyone’s favorite – Wildwood Trail – but also some lesser traveled and less well-known paths, with approximately 4,000′ of elevation gain. The Stumptown Trail Runs half marathon is a fun, challenging and well-supported race that includes beautiful trails and lots of friends and family. These are running events; not walking races. Both races support the Forest Park Conservancy again this year.

This course has a downhill finish in the canopied forest and recreational fields of Mary Young Park. Hear that? It’s the lazy Willamette River meandering nearby. The 2022 Up The Lazy River10K and free kids’ race is Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 starting at 9 a.m. ORRC is eliminating touchpoints between volunteers and participants, as well as being a good steward to the Earth. We have eliminated paper cups at our aid stations. Please bring your own container. ORRC will be giving reusable silicone cups to all participants at the event. The Emerald City Trail Series is a fun trail race series held in Howard Buford Recreational Area and Mt. Pisgah Arboretum in Eugene. This set of five trail races between 3-8 miles takes place every Thursday in June. What makes Buford and Mt. Pisgah a wonderful place to have a series is the park’s wide variety of trails and scenery. Mt. Pisgah’s 1531′ summit is in the middle of the largest of Lane County’s 73 parks. It offers views of the Cascade Mountains, Spencer Butte, the Middle and Coastal Forks of the Willamette River, Eugene, Springfield, Creswell, Jasper, Pleasant Hill, and Goshen. The Bend Beer Chase is a one-day six-person running & walking relay of approximately 55 miles, consisting of 12 legs of varying distance (4-8 miles per leg). The course starts in Bend, travels to Redmond, and returns to finish in Bend, while experiencing the amazing craft breweries of Central Oregon. Portland’s most popular fun run, the Starlight Run,is the wacky warm-up act for the Portland General Electric/SOLVE Starlight Parade is starting and finishing on Naito Parkway at Rose Festival CityFair. The 44th Annual Starlight Run will start at 7:00 p.m. The traditional costume contest will be held at 5:45. The expected route is: start near Morrison Street at Naito, go north, then turn up SW Harvey Milk Street (formerly Stark Street) and join the Starlight Parade route at 4th AVE.
