Grateful Dad Half Marathon/10k/5k

The Providence Hood & Portland To Coast Relays is the most popular and largest running and walking relay race in the world, annually drawing participants from over 40 countries and all 50 states. The 17th Annual Girlfriends Run offers a Half Marathon, 10K & 6K designed specifically for women to get together to do something good for themselves and to help support a very important women’s cause. We started this event to honor and support one of our BFFs, Joleen Skarberg, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and continues to run it every year with her daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins and girlfriends! Watch for her – she’ll be wearing #1! About half the gals run, half walk and many do a combination of running and walking. It doesn’t matter how you get to the finish line, as long as you get there~
