Hood River Event Site Hood River, OR, United StatesThe Les Schwab Windy River Relay’s looped course has an epic start and finish on the Hood River Waterfront. It takes participants from downtown Hood River through the beautiful orchards, toward the Cascade Mountains’ majestic views and by serene waterways. The race has a fast second half with its downhill return to the Columbia River at Tamanawas Falls and Cold Spring Creek near Mt. Hood ending back at the Columbia River.

Known as the Mother of All Relays, the event takes 8 to 12 member relay teams 196 miles or 128 miles (from Portland) from the iconic top of Mount Hood to the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. The event has sold-out for 30 straight years and on lottery opening day for 24 consecutive years!
