The Ruff
Dog Mountain Columbia River Gorge, WAWelcome to The Ruff. The only race that runs up Dog Mountain in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It is a chance for you to test your lungs by running straight up 3 miles (and 3000ft) to the summit of Dog Mountain and then testing your quads by bombing down 4 miles to the finish. You will have beautiful views of the Columbia River below, Mt Hood to the south and Mt St. Helens to the west. The race starts/finishes at the Dog Mountain Trailhead. The 7 mile course is run entirely on single-track trails. You will take the Dog Mountain Trail to the summit and then come down Augspurger Trail.
Group Runs in Places We Don’t Have Races: Larch Mountain
Wahkee Fall Day Use Area Cascade Locks, OR, United StatesGroup run #2 from the Group Runs in Places We Don’t Have Races takes us to the Columbia River Gorge and one of our favorite wintertime routes. We’ll take the Wahkeena trail to the Larch Mountain trail to top out at Sherrard Point and then run back down the same way. This is a very (and we mean very) fun route to come down in the fluffy snow so let’s hope we get that. Afterwards we’ll hang out for a bit at either Thunder Island Brewing or Gorges Beer Co, both in Cascade Locks. HTC Windy River Relay
Hood River Waterfront Hood River, OR, United StatesThe Les Schwab Windy River Relay’s looped course has an epic start and finish on the Hood River Waterfront. It takes participants from downtown Hood River through the beautiful orchards, toward the Cascade Mountains’ majestic views and by serene waterways. The race has a fast second half with its downhill return to the Columbia River at Tamanawas Falls and Cold Sprint Creek near Mt. Hood ending back at the Columbia River.

St. Paddy’s Leprechaun Pub Hop 5k
Join us for the 2nd annual pub hop in downtown Stevenson. This 5k run/walk event will start and finish at Walking Man, and will loop through the waterfront and downtown Stevenson. Race begins at 11:30, so you should wrap up your 5k just in time to hop into the pub for some liquid refreshment. Cost is $20 ($10 for CGRC members)

Run With The Wild 5k
Columbia GorgeA family friendly, dog friendly, ADA accessible 5k run/walk! This 5k will be held in the beautifully scenic Columbia River Gorge, starting at the Mark O. Hatfield (WEST) Trailhead. Views of the Columbia River will be seen along this paved route. All proceeds will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. We will also hold an event drawing - enter for your chance to win amazing prizes from local PNW businesses.
SW Fire on the Mountain
This is a stunning, point to point, trail half marathon with sweeping views of the White Salmon River Valley and Columbia River Gorge. Race start is at the Husum Fire Station and travel up the Indian Creek road to the Weldon Wagon Trail where you will climb 1500′ to epic views. A few miles of gravel and a short road section will bring you to the fully stocked, Cherry Lane Fire Aid Station. Once your recharged you will dive back into spring flower lined trails that will begin your winding decent into the streets of White Salmon and finish at the White Salmon Fire Station. Carson to Stevenson Ridge Run 10-miler
The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to embark on the 14th Carson to Stevenson Ridge 10-Miler. This point-to-point race goes up and over the scenic ridge between the towns of Carson and Stevenson, WA. It's a stout climb in both directions - so much so that Backwoods Brewing (in Carson) named a delicious oatmeal stout after this event. The event starts at Wind River Middle School, 441 Hot Springs Ave, Carson WA 98610, proceed over the ridge to end at the Exhibit Hall at the Skamania County Fairgrounds, 710 SW Rock Creek Dr, Stevenson, WA.
White Salmon Backyard Half
Join us in the scenic Columbia River Gorge for this challenging trail half marathon (there is also a 4-miler that starts at the same time) that goes up and then down the beautiful trails above White Salmon. The race is a fundraiser for the White Salmon cross country team, and the registration fee is donation based ($35 being the suggested amount).
Strawberry Fields Forever
Choose from 10k, 50k, 100k and 100 miles - you have 30 hours. This is a 10k loop course in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, in a recreation area managed by the Corps of Engineers. It runs through field, forest, and along the majestic Columbia River. The course is dirt trail and graveled trail. There is roughly 200 feet of elevation gain and 200 feet of elevation loss. The start and finish of the loop are at the North Bonneville Ball Fields where participants can stop for refreshments as they are counted by the chip mat. Runners can put up a tent at the park for a change of gear or a nap. This is a great opportunity to test all your gear or your stamina with limited consequences!

Bridge of the Gods Half Marathon

The Bridge of the Gods Half Marathon and 10K runs start on the Washington side of the spectacular Columbia River. As a competitor, you will be thrilled by the amazing views of the river directly underfoot, guaranteed to get your blood pumping before you reach the first mile. Walkers welcomed and celebrated! We offer a 7-hour half-marathon cut-off time.
Three Corner Rock 50k
This beautiful point to point trail race follows about 30 miles of the southbound Pacific Crest Trail starting at Whistle Punk trailhead and finishes in the town of North Bonneville, WA. Runners will take a short detour to enjoy the 360 degree view of majestic Cascade Range volcanoes from the top of Three Corner Rock. The course is demanding and the terrain ranges from soft forest floor to challenging, rocky creek beds. Capped at 100 athletes, this race is unpretentious and unique. Highlights include miles-long exhilarating descents, fresh huckleberries, the boundless enthusiasm and high fives of northbound PCT thru-hikers, and the low-key culture of a race that supports and celebrates the accomplishment of each runner who finishes or even attempts this tough course! Oxbow Trail Runs
Oxbow Regional Park 3010 SE Oxbow Parkway, Gresham, United StatesThe Oxbow Trail Runs a family fun event in the scenic Oxbow Regional Park, Metro, just outside Gresham on the Sandy River, about 30 minutes from downtown Portland. This year’s date for the Oxbow Trail Runs is September 17. Registration opens on June 26. The 5k is a kid-friendly course, only $25 for those 18 and under.
