Marys Peak Trail Run

Blodgett School Blodgett, OR

Stunning and Epic on May 20th, 2023 Come Run with us for 50 Miles, 50K, or 25K in one of the most challenging and beautiful places on the planet. Nestled in the Heart of the Willamette Valley sits the highest peak in the Oregon Coast Range Marys Peak at 4101 Ft. Marys Peak was known as Chateemanwi, or “place of spiritual power” to the native Kalapuya tribe who used the land for spirit quests. Nestled on her slopes are a town, cemetery and old logging railroad. The streams that flow down the mountain’s sides provide water to Corvallis from the Rock Creek Watershed. Many of the lands surrounding Marys Peak were privately owned, until they were added to the Siuslaw National Forest to protect the source that provides Corvallis with 40% of their drinking water.

Stumptown Trail Runs

Wy’east Wonder

Bennett Pass Sno Park Mt. Hood

The original east-of-Wy’east race, this 50-miler and 50K is super scenic with so many mountain views. You will want to return to these ridge line trails again and again. The Wy’east Wonder is a point-to-point race run mostly on two ridges alongside Mt. Hood; Gunsight Ridge and Surveyor’s Ridge. You will have so many views of Wy’east (the Multnomah Tribe word for Mt. Hood) as you make your way from it’s southern side around to the east, that you may actually get tired of looking at it. We promise we’ll take your breath away, and it won’t be from only running. The 50M route has 7,082′ of elevation gain and 10,012 of loss. The 50K has 4,193′ of gain and 7,122′ of loss.

Volcanic 50K & 25K

Marble Mountain Sno Park Cougar, WA

Volcanic is a rugged (and we mean that), remote, and challenging 50K+ and a 25K on an active volcano in Washington state. The 50K course runs on the single-track Loowit trail, circumnavigating the entire mountain. Racers scramble over boulder fields, cross rivers, run through the blast zone, as well as through dense forest – all with ever-changing views of the volcano. Volcanic 50K is actually 32 miles and feels more like a 50-miler. In all, this Mt. St. Helens race has approximately 7,400 feet of elevation gain and 7,400 feet of loss. The 25K gives runners a real Mt. St. Helens volcano race experience without having to run all the way around it. This course includes some of the iconic features of the longer race – boulder fields, the Loowit trail, jaw-dropping views of the […]

Elk-Kings Trail Races

Smith Homestead Tillamook State Forest

These are rugged races that involve scrambling up rocky mountains and descended steep trails. A real mountain race! The 25K race is a very steep and technical course run on single-track trails in the Tillamook State Forest. Runners will summit two mountains – Elk and Kings Mountains – and involve 5,800 feet of gain. The 50K course changed in 2022. Now, the 50K racers get to go up and down Elk and Kings Mountains just like the 25Kers. This is a much more technical course, with 7,500 feet of gain. Both races finish at the Smith Homestead, near the Tillamook Forest Center. This is where all runners pick up their bibs and where the 50K racers start. The 25K runners take a shuttle to the start near Elk Creek campground. This is legit hard. But […]
