White River Snowshoe 8k & 4k

The snowshoe events are designed for everyone. If you can walk 5-miles you will finish. There will be great competition for the endorphin junkies and great scenery and camaraderie for those looking for a little outdoor adventure. The two events make up the largest snowshoe race in the Northwest.

We are preparing for a COVID-SAFE event. We will let you know exactly what this means as soon as we get info from permitting and insuring agencies.
White River 8K:
The White River 8K will begin at the White River West Sno-Park. The course is a 2-loop adventure through the White River Canyon. This is the oldest snowshoe event in the northwest. The route will leave the sno-park and travel to the end of the canyon and return. The course is a narrow loop. — SOME COURSE CHANGES WILL be made if weather dictates. Course updates will be posted. Some of the course will be designed to include/accommodate snow conditions. It will be 8K.
White River 4K:
The White River 4K will begin at the White River West Sno-Park. The course travels through the upper White River Canyon.
ALL WOMEN’S 2-MILE – SATURDAY at NOON
Meet at high noon for a 2-mile snowshoe with some perks along the way. Want to check out snowshoeing, this is a great chance. Proceeds to the Maupin girls athletics. On course entertainment? Maybe… and maybe all dudes that entertain. No awards and non-competitive. Snowshoe will be lead by experienced snowshoers and snacks/fun provided.
