Expect wet & muddy conditions on the flat sections of Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2. Steep Summit Loop has a short section on packed gravel road. (The .64 out & back section to AID2 is gravel as well.) The rest of the courses cover very well maintained trails of varying trail width and surfaces. Base Loop 1, 2 & Summit Loop all have small creek crossings.

The 5K is very challenging – from 1.32 miles to 1.9 miles, the course goes straight up the mountain. The 50K is comprised of 4 loops, each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation. The 25K is comprised of 2 loops, each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation. The 15K is comprised of one loop, climbing 900 feet of elevation.  TIME LIMIT: The 50K has a time limit of 8 hours. All courses will close at 4pm.
