Fly like a butterfly on Saturday, June 21st for the ECEC Butterfly 5k Run. This will be a beautiful run (or walk if you prefer!) along the Umpqua River in Elkton.
After the race, there will be more fun with live music, vendors, and food. There will also be tours of Fort Umpqua and the Blooms & Butterflies Festival which celebrates the return of the butterflies to the Butterfly Pavillion. The doors to this event open at 9:00AM.
Check-in, registration, and packet pick-up for the 5k event begin at 8:00AM. This race will begin at the Native Plant Park at ECEC (Elkton Community Education Center) and will follow River Road through town before crossing Elk Creek and looping back around. There will be one water stop along the way. Check out the course here.
