Run a Shore Thing at the Lake Oswego Lake Run

Come to Lake Oswego for the Lake Oswego Lake Run! This race has become a community tradition, now in it’s 49th year, and it’s also a fundraiser for Northwest Housing Alternatives which is an organization that builds homes for seniors, families, veterans, and people with special needs across Oregon. This year the 5k/10k event will be held on Saturday, May 3rd.

Lake Oswego is not exactly flat, so be prepared for some hills but also some beautiful views, especially around the lake by Millennium Plaza Park. The 10k takes off first at 8:00AM with the 5k following at 8:15AM. Because this is also a family-friendly event, there’s a Kid’s Dash too which starts at 10:00AM. The Kid’s Dash is two blocks long and kids must be a minimum of 3 years old to participate.

All runners will receive t-shirts with their registration this year! It’s a pretty affordable option which also goes to a good cause, at only $20 for the kid’s dash, $55 for the 5k, and $60 for the 10k. The price goes up April 1st, so register now to get the best savings!
