Running Rogue: A Look Ahead at the 2024 Rogue Marathon

Looking for a fast marathon? The 2024 Rogue Marathon is back! If you’re looking to get a BQ, this is maybe your best chance this year.

This event, which has a full marathon, a half marathon, a 10k, and a 1 miler, is on Saturday, October 12th this year. It’s a point to point course from the Bear Creek Greenway in scenic Ashland all the way to Medford.

The marathon will start at 7:00AM and Emigrant Lake County Park. The Half Marathon begins an hour later from Paschal Winery and Vineyard. There will be bus transportation in front of the Middleford parking garage on 6th Street between North Bartlett and Riverside to shuttle folks to the start of each of these races. The buses will run from 5:35AM to 5:50AM for the marathon and from 7:00AM to 7:20AM for the half. There will be drop bag options as well as porta-potties available at the start.

The 10k begins at 9:00AM in Medford at Bear Creek Park. Finally, there’s a 1-Mile kids run at 10:30AM at the finish line on 4th Street in Medford. There will be porta-potties available.

The finish in Medford near the harvest festival offers participants live music and one free beverage of choice from Common Block Brewing. All participants will get medals and tee shirts and there is a prize purse for the top finishers.
