The Catherine Creek Classic half marathon, 5K, and 1 mile race is a scenic event in beautiful Eastern Oregon. The mostly downhill half marathon starts in the Wallowa National Forest and ends at Union High School. The point to point half marathon loses 1,100 feet from start to finish. Sounds like an opportunity for a PR!
All distances are point to point, so participants will meet at Union High School then take the shuttle to their start line (click here for details on shuttle times). Make sure to note that there are no bathrooms at the start, so take advantage of the bathrooms at Catherine Creek State Park on your way to the start line!
The Catherine Creek Classic is great for any budget, as it is just $35 for the half marathon. What a bargain!
If you’re looking for that half marathon PR, this just might be the event for you! And, in scenic Eastern Oregon, this is definitely a bucket list race!
