Two States, One Race: 2023 Rainier to Longview 10k Bridge Run

If running from one state to another is on your bucket list, you might want to consider the 2023 Rainier to Longview 10k Bridge Run this Spring! This event, (referred to as “R2L” if you’re in the know,) will provide a unique race experience as you traverse the historic Lewis & Clark Bridge over the Columbia River. Runners will enjoy a unique experience, starting in Rainer, OR and running into Longview, WA.

This event will be held on Sunday, April 23^rd at 7:00 AM starting at Rainier Park. The route will follow the Columbia River Highway, over the bridge, and into Washington and onto the paved Highlands Trail. After trekking through the neighborhood streets, runners will find a gravel path along the banks of Lake Sacajawea, where they will finish at Lake Sacajawea Park at Martin’s Dock. Shuttles will be available at Sacajawea Park on race day and will head back to Rainer after the event. You MUST have your race bib to board the shuttle. Street parking will be available at Lake Sacajawea Park and in Rainer.

This 10k will cost $75 and a long sleeve Nike Dri-Fit shirt will be included with registration (guaranteed only until March 10^th deadline.) Kids ages 10 and under can race FREE with paid adult registration, though no chip timing will be offered for free youth registration.

There will be a race packet pick up in the days leading up to the race at the McClelland Center in Longview, WA. If you cannot attend the packet pick up or have a friend or family member pick it up for you, you will need to pay an additional fee when registering for the race to have it shipped to you. Race packets cannot be picked up on race day.
