The 38th annual Goat Mountain Gallop returns on March 4. This 10 or 5 mile race benefits the Molalla High School track and field and cross country teams.
The Goat Mountain Gallop has a reputation for being a challenging course due to its rolling hills. However, you will also be rewarded with some flat running, as well.
This 5 mile loop course begins and ends at Heckard Field at Molalla High School. 10 mile runners will complete the loop twice. The course will be run on the track, a paved trail, and city and county roads – which will be open to traffic. The 10 mile distance is for runners only, the 5 mile is open to both walkers and runners.
Custom awards will be given to the overall male and female 10 mile run winners, the overall male and female 5 mile run and walk finishers. There will also be random drawings with prizes provided by local merchants.
It’s time to channel your inner mountain goat and get registered for this challenge!
