When you ask a runner what they love most about running, you’ll get a variety of answers. For some it’s about the challenge, for others about the health benefits, and for still others it’s about the community. Some busy folks need the break from demanding screens or others’ expectations. I know one piece I love is the chance to see what I can do that day.
We can also add to the list the chance to explore new places, like the trails that you could be running through at Run Love Run. This event at Newport beach starts at the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Participants get to choose from 8K, 15K, and 30K distances, with the finish line for all three at Rogue Brewery (great food is another reason to love running).
All finishers earn a handblown glass finisher medal. Awards will be given to top three male and female, master male and female, and grandmaster male and female. There are also age group awards and a Power Couple Division, where two participants partner up to have their finishing percentage submitted.
