Do you know the only thing better than a holiday run? A holiday run that starts at noon!
And that is exactly the joy you get at the Jingle Bells Run in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday December 18. The Kids Rudolph Run is at 11:45am, followed by the 15K starting at noon with the 5K at 12:15.
Now the festivities are all throughout this race. First off, costumes are strongly encouraged. Second, along the course participants will be picking up giant candy canes for points toward a prize at the finish. And third, the party will include a holiday band and the one and only Santa Claus. Get your jingle on and your wish list ready.
One last important detail is that aid stations will be cup-less so be sure to bring your own water bottle. Not sure if eggnog is a good choice for a race, but if the holiday spirit moves you…
