The 2022 Battle to the Pacific 5K/10K and half marathon events, hosted by Bivouac Racing, will once again be held in November at Fort Stevens State Park (just outside of Astoria.) There is so much to explore nearby, including a shipwreck on the beach and a historic military area, so be sure to take advantage while you are there. This race is the 4th – and final – event of Bivouac’s Oregon State Park Trail Series for the year.
On Sunday, November 20th, participants will start and finish at Coffenbury Lake and will meander along the paved (and flat!) hiking and biking trails within the park. The courses will go through two underpasses and over a bridge in the park, adding to the already beautiful scenery. The courses are a combination of different loops. The half marathon distance will allow you to run all three.
All Bivouac Racing events are cupless, so plan accordingly and enjoy the trails!
