Puppy Love at the Park: 2022 Dog Days of Summer Series (Portland)

Mt. Tabor Park is a wonderful gem in SE Portland that I don’t get to nearly enough. It can seem hidden in the neighborhood, and yet is large enough to get lost among all the trails for an evening. If you haven’t been to this park lately, then this is the race for you because it will get you there four times this summer.

Terrapin Events is hosting the Dog Days of Summer Series at Mt. Tabor Park with 5K races for four weeks in August. Each event will start at 6:30pm with live music, BBQ, yard games, vendors, and a beer garden afterwards. Participants can sign up for all four races or just one or two. Signing up for the series includes a commemorative t-shirt and medal with charms for completing each event (those who sign up for one event can purchase the shirt and medal separately if wanted).

And just in case you are without a four-legged friend to run with. All are welcome to join in the races no matter their level of fur.
