A Weekend to Remember at the 2022 Pacific Coast Running Festival

The Pacific Coast Running Festival is back! This race is back for it’s second year in beautiful Long Beach, Washington and hosted again by Why Racing. This festival weekend, (previously the Pacific Crest Festival in Sunriver, Oregon two years ago) will have thousands of participants over three days, as it’s an incredibly popular event. The Long Beach Peninsula is gorgeous and you’ll find the freshest seafood, beautiful beaches, stunning rain forests, and an all-around great place to stay.

The schedule may seem a bit intimidating with SIX amazing events spanning from Friday May 13th through Sunday May 15th, but there is absolutely something for everyone. This is a great family-friendly event, and in addition to the individual events, there are BEAST bundles for those who want to participate in more than one event. There are still virtual options as well. Check out these events listed below:

  • Kid’s Pedal & Dash (Friday, May 13th, 2022)
  • Sunset 5k Sand Run (Friday, May 13th, 2002)
  • Tour de Pacific Bike (Saturday, May 14th, 2022)
  • Half Marathon, 10k & 5k (Sunday, May 15th, 2022)
  • Kid’s Half-Mile & 1-Mile Dash (Sunday, May 15th, 2022)

All events include chip timing (except for the Tour de Pacific Bike), tech shirt (cotton shirt for kids events), and medal. Awards will be given to the top males and females for Overall, Overall Master, five year age divisions, as well as Clydesdale and Athena divisions. There will be a Health & Fitness Expo, a beer garden, and lots more! Additionally, Pacific Coast, along with the many other events organized by WHY Racing, benefits numerous nonprofit organizations and events could SELL OUT, so register today!!
