Let’s Get Ready to Ruuuuumble: Previewing the 2022 Peterson Ridge Rumble 20M and 40M

It’s well-known by now that the Peterson Ridge Rumble is the perfect kick off to spring trail racing. The Sisters run known for it’s singletrack, good distance options, dog-friendly, socks, and burritos is back again on Sunday, April 10th.

Starting and ending at the Sisters Middle School, the course is mostly trail with a few sections of dirt road and views of the mountains along the way. The 40 miler will have 5 full aid stations and 2 water stations; the 20 miler will have 4 aid stations. The course has changed a little bit for this year so be sure to keep an eye on the course markings if you’re a repeat offender for this race!

The 40 milers can have drop bags and crew access – you can read more about that on the website. Packet pickup is available at FootZone in Bend on April 8th and April 9th, or on race day starting at 6 AM.

The Rumble’s beneficiary is the Sisters High School cross country team and many of the volunteers will be cross country team members.
