Race Preview: 2021 Canby Dahlia Run (Canby)

After a year hiatus due to Covid19, the Canby Dahlia Run is back in 2021 with the race scheduled for Saturday, August 28 at 7am. The event starts and ends at New Life Foursquare Church in Canby (map), and offers a half marathon, and a 10k run/walk.

The course for the half marathon takes you along country roads to the Willamette River, through some neighborhoods, and at mile 5.5 through the beautiful Swan Island Dahlia fields just northeast of Canby. Around mile 8 the half marathoners re-join the 10k course and run through town and the fields and farms to the south of Canby. There will be eight water stations along the course, each approximately 1.5-2 miles apart. The course for the 10k DOES NOT take you through the dahlia fields. It splits from the half marathon course just before mile 1 and runs through the town and the fields to the south. There will be five water and aid stations along the way.

Registration is now open! Entry to the half marathon is $55, the 10k is $45, and the virtual challenge is $25. Those prices will increase by $10 on August 1st. T-shirts are available for purchase for an additional $25.
