The 2021 Gold Rush 5k run and walk takes place on June 12th as part of the 100th annual ’62 Days Celebration in Canyon City, OR, just two miles south of John Day in Grant County. The race starts at 8am in front of Sel’s Brewery, where it will also finish.
To pre-register for the run or walk, you can print the registration form, make your $18/person check payable to Strawberry Striders and drop off or mail it to the Grant County Chamber of Commerce. Day of event registration starts at 7am and costs $20. Registration includes race entry, commemorative t-shirt, and post-race food and music. Awards and ribbons go to the top finishers in 10year age groups.
