Springtime weather is looking so sweet. And an in-person race is the perfect way to enjoy it. Invite some girl friends from your bubble to head to Bend to celebrate all the hope and happiness of this year.
Happy Girls Run holds a series of runs each year inviting friends and family members to walk or run a 5K or half marathon together. The Bend event will be utilizing a new course and have lots of safety measures in place. New measures this year include masks and the start and finish line, social distancing protocols, staggered starts, and masked volunteers throughout to support the participants. The entire race will still be well-supported with multiple aid stations and cheerful volunteers along the way.
If you are looking for help in getting to the starting line, Train Like a Mother Club provides diverse training plans for all sorts of goals. Plus, the program has accessible coaches and a podcast to listen to while on your training runs. Learn more through their website.
And that finish line will be worth it. #Promise. Every 5K finisher receives a medal while every half marathon finisher earns a sterling silver necklace. All participants receive a Happy Girls gift and swag bag full of sponsored treats. Virtual participants will also receive a packet of goodies, including finisher’s medal, race bib, and t-shirt. Need more swag? Check out Happy Girls Activewear.
2021 is…let’s say…complicated so far. But there is so much to hope for and potential for happiness too. Share some of that happiness with a run around Bend with some Happy Girls.
